Isaias intensified late Wednesday, becoming the first hurricane of the season, and is continuing to target the Gulf Coast.

An area from Mississippi to Florida’s Panhandle is squarely in the storm’s crosshairs, with forecasters warning of dangerous storm surge, excess rainfall and possible tornadoes.

Tampa Bay remains far from the worst of the storm, but could see some impacts, like minor coastal flooding or even inland flooding — largely driven by days of soggy weather.
