Bring your lunch and join us at Fort De Soto's Shelter #3 at 1PM on Saturday, February 21 for a picnic and our general meeting. Here's a Fort DeSoto Park map. Unless you have an annual pass, you'll need to pay the $6 parking fee payable via mobile parking app.
Each year, several members of the Hoosiers Canoe & Kayak Club head south for a few weeks of paddling in our winter paradise. They will be camping at Fort De Soto Park during the latter half of February. This created a perfect opportunity to involve them in our February picnic and paddles at Fort De Soto.
Since we'll be joining forces with the Hoosiers on the water that day, we thought we'd make our picnic gathering do double duty as our February general meeting and lead a "club-to-club" discussion. We can learn more about how the Hoosier's club works, they can learn more about TBSK, and hopefully we all leave with some new ideas and friends!
