Description
:
Gulf waters are a little chilly this time of year, so we've reserved a heated pool to play in! We'll have an opportunity to practice all kinds of wet skills: rolling, self- and assisted rescues, balance braces, sculling, and wet exits.

Schedule:
We have reserved the pool from 1:30-4:30PM. Arrive around 1PM to drop off your kayak. There is parking available in a nearby lot and along the street, payable by Park Mobile app. Parking meters take credit cards.
What to bring
:
U
sual
paddling gear, including PFD and sprayskirt. Masks or nose plugs may be useful for those wanting to work on rolls or balance braces. Bring your paddle float and/or stirrup if you wish to practice rescues using those assistive tools. Instructors will also have these items on hand to loan out.
Cost:
To offset the cost of renting the pool, we are asking all participants to make a $25
donation
to the club
AFTER the session takes place
. Please don't pay this up front--it will complicate matters if the session has to be cancelled due to weather.

f you have any medical issues that might impact this practice, please notify instructors before the session so that they can be best equipped to assist you as needed.
If your plans to participate change, please cancel on the website or app so that people on the waitlist can join us.
