NORTH FROM BRASHER PARK – LEVEL I --LIMIT 10 PADDLERS

We’ll paddle north from the park along the undeveloped shoreline of Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park, taking advantage of the particularly high tides to explore some of the creeks and inlets and enjoying some nice views out into Anclote Anchorage and the Gulf.
Along the way, we’ll stop for a lunch/snack break and maybe a quick dip.
Location: Brasher Park 4951 Koons Road Port Richey
Schedule: Sunday July 27th Meet at 9AM for a 9:30 launch. Return about 1:30PM
Additional information: Restrooms at the park.
Difficulty: Level I. (See Skills Self Assessment Chart link below for level assignment)
Boats should be at least 14 feet long and have deck lines and/or grab loops, as well as sealed bow and stern flotation. Bring plenty of water, sunscreen, bug repellant, a hat, and shoes that will protect you against oyster shells at take-outs.
