TBSK MAY MEETING - BOUNCING AROUND IN BAJA
7PM, MAY 15 in Ybor City
For the first time in 14 months, we're going to get together in real time and space! We'll meet at The Bricks in Ybor City at 7PM on Thursday, May 15th to hear TBSK members Scott Jantz and Jill Lingard tell us tales of their paddling adventures in Baja this past February. On a trip co-hosted by Michael Gray of Uncommon Adventures and Jen Kleck of La Jolla Sea Cave Kayaks, Scott and Jill were introduced to rock gardening, Pacific swell, incredible marine wildlife, and beautiful sunsets. They will also share a bit about other paddling trips they've taken with Michael Gray over the past couple years, from the Caribbean and Central America to his Great Lakes backyard. Maybe we can fill up a future trip with TBSK members? Our meeting will take place in the private room of The Bricks restaurant, located at 1327 E 7th Avenue in Tampa. Food and beverages will be available. Per their website, the restaurant is known for "creative recipes, locally roasted coffee, and classic cocktails." Park at the Palm Garage, located at 2010 N 13th Street. It's a two-block walk from there to the restaurant. We look forward to seeing you on the Ides of May!
