My paddling life began in the Keys in 2001 and became an eco tour guide there for about 13 years for Florida Bay Outfitters. Exploring the backcountry and the mangroves on the oceanside was great and I soon wanted to travel to see other gorgeous parts of the world by kayak. Having sailed much longer than I’ve paddled, discovering a trip involving both was a great treat - and in the south of France! Done deal.
