Description: We'll assemble at the beach near picnic shelter #9 in Maximo Park. Paddle south paralleling to the Skyway Bridge to Tarpon Key. We’ll pitstop at Tarpon Key (swim, snack, roll, rest etc.) and then paddle back northwest around Indian Key and then back to the beach by 12:00 for the TBSK Picnic Lunch

Schedule: Saturday, February 17th. Meet at 8:30 with a departure time of 9:00

Difficulty: Level III, distance of 8 miles, some in open water, may be choppy, must have open water skills (See Skills Self Assessment Chart link below for level assignment)
Required: Sea kayak at least 15' with water-tight bulkheads, deck lines, and spray deck; no inflatable PFDs. Bring lots of water/sports drink, snacks, and sunscreen.
