Update - Moving launch time to 11am
Caledesi and the South Spoils - Level 2

Let's again meet at the Dunedin Causeway (just west of High & Dry Grill) at 10:30 for a 11:00 launch and go south along the inside of Caledesi Island. We'll make our way through Scharrer Cut to Dunedin Pass where we'll take a break to walk to the gulf side and survey the shore changes over the summer. Return same route or more likely follow the chain of south spoil islands back to the causeway, with perhaps make another stop along the way. Food & refreshments at High and Dry after.
Current forecast is for mild NNE winds and mostly sunny but cool with a high of 65. Low tide is at 7:21a (-.7ft) while high is at 1:56p (2.1ft). There's a boat channel to cross near the causeway but most of the trip is in shallow waters. Calling it a Lev2 primarily for the distance.
Wed 29th arrive 10:30am, launch at 11:00. Around 8 miles total, anticipate return 3:00p.
Type of boat not critical here but we hope to not wait for shorter/wider boats to catch up so 14ft or longer preferred. Prepare for strong sun, bring enough water.
