Training title: Rescues and Tows

Description: Learn and practice your rescues and tows. Good training for existing and future trip leaders. We will guide and practice in protected, relatively warm waters. Dress for immersion (neoprene, wetsuits, or dry suits encouraged). Bring a tow rope if you have one. Tow belts will be provided, if needed.
Location: Gandy Beach, St Pete to the east of Urban Kai / The Getaway
Schedule: Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2023. Meet at 10 a.m. We will start with tows then go into rescues. Debrief over lunch afterwards.
Additional information: Bring a change of clothes. Restrooms available at the Getaway.
Difficulty: Level 2
Required / suggested / restricted: PFD worn, neoprene, wetsuit or dry suit encouraged for rescue practice. Ability to do a wet exit.
