(No need to register for the picnic if that's ALL you want to do with us on that day - just come.)
Register here for the Recreational Level picnic paddle, which is open to paddlers of all skill levels and all types of kayaks. Members of the group also will have the option to learn how to read a navigational map, how to plot a journey using waypoints, and how to use a compass and map to guide to the sponge docks in downtown Tarpon Springs.
Jill Mosteller will lead this trip.
Meet at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, September 17 at Anclote River Park, 1119 Baillies Bluff Road, Holiday. Be ready to launch at 9:30.
Bring your own lunch and drinks and enjoy socializing with your fellow members at the noon picnic after the paddle. We will try to get the shelter by the river for the picnic, but shelters are first-come, first-served on weekends. Bring a chair or blanket to sit on in case no shelters are available.
