Description: We'll paddle from Dunedin Causeway over to Caladesi Island and then out into the Gulf, either north or south depending on conditions. Plan to spend some time on the beach, get wet, eat lunch on the beach, and maybe have time for some skills practice before returning to the Causeway not later than 1:00.
Location: Dunedin Causeway just past (west) the kayak rental
Schedule: Tuesday, September 13. Meet at 8:30 a.m., GONE by 9:00 a.m.
Additional information: No charge for parking on the beach, no water connections for boat cleaning. Low tide 9:28 a.m. 0.2ft, High 3:36 p.m. 2.5ft.
Difficulty: Level 2, distance about 5 miles, some in open water, may be choppy, must have open water skills (See Skills Self Assessment Chart for level assignment.)
