Meet Al Tillson at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 launch at Common Good Park in Ruskin. The group will go for an exploratory 2-3 hour, 5-6 mile paddle down the lower Little Manatee River toward and possibly into the Bay.
The low tide level of 0.9 at 8:15 (high of 2.1 at 2:09) should facilitate this trip through a largely undeveloped estuary.
