Register here for the Recreational Level picnic paddle, which is open to paddlers of all skill levels. Hank Brooks will lead this trip.
Meet at 9:00 a.m. March 19 at the traffic circle at the end of the road between shelters 14 and 15, E.G. Simmons Conservation Park, 2401 19th Ave NW, Ruskin. There is a restroom there and a sidewalk going toward shelter 15.
The best place to launch is close to shelter 15. Launch at 9:30 a.m.
Bring your own lunch and drinks and enjoy socializing with your fellow members at the noon picnic after the paddle. The picnic shelters at the park are first-come, first-served so bring a chair or blanket to sit on in case we are not able to get a shelter.
