Description: We'll plan to paddle at a leisurely pace from Trout Creek Wilderness Park on this beautiful unspoiled portion of the river to Morris Bridge Park for lunch/snack before returning back downriver to Trout Creek Park.
Location: Trout Creek Wilderness Park: 12550 Morris Bridge Rd, Thonotosassa, FL 33592
Schedule: Saturday, April 24th. Plan to meet at 9:30 for a 10:00 departure, returning about 1:00
Additional information: There is a $2 Parking Fee. Bring lunch/snack, lots of drink, and sunscreen. We will limit this paddle to a max of 8 TBSK Members, and will take care to ensure appropriate social distancing.
Difficulty: An easy Level 1 paddle at moderate pace on a quiet river. Distance of about 3 miles in each direction.
Required: Any kayak will work on this trip so long as you can paddle a total of about 6 miles. No inflatable PFDs. Bring lots of water/sports drink, lunch, sunscreen.
