Starting on the southwest side of the Dunedin Causeway just west of Sail Honeymoon boat rental (you know, the typical launch point) we’ll go under the bridge then follow the east shoreline of Honeymoon Island. Stop for a snack break then return. If the group motivation aligns with the stars we may circumnavigate Honeymoon.
Arrive by 10:00 for a 10:30 launch. About 7 miles (closer to 10 if we circumnavigate).
Tides: Low@8:44a (.1 ft), High@2:36p (2.4 ft)
Anyone along without a longer boat (15+ ft) and using a spray skirt, group won’t circumnavigate. Also note Level II trips have a faster average speed so bring a boat able to keep up.
