We'll head north from Howard Park staying along the shore to Key Vista Nature Park (approx. 4 miles). At Key Vista we will stop for a break and a snack. There is a tower that can be climbed for breath-taking views. Returning to Howard Park.
Location: Fred Howard Park, meet in parking lot of Shelter 6
Schedule: Saturday, December 16, 2017; meet at 9 a..m., boats in the water by 9:30 a.m.; returning approx. 1:30 p.m.
Additional Information: Bring water and lunch/snack, sun screen and clothing appropriate for weather conditions.
Difficulty: Level II, intermediate paddle of about 8 miles.
Required: Kayaks must be at least 15 ft. with watertight bulkheads. MUST HAVE PFD, SPRAY SKIRT AND WHISTLE.
